Bear 28 PB Replica 1904 celebrates Richard Steiff's dedication to teddy bear creation. His 1904 teddy bears introduced jointed limbs. This particular replica features “rod” joints, loosely attached to the body, large black button eyes, horizontal seam from ear to ear, sealing wax nose, pink stitched mouth and five black stitched claws. He is stuffed with wood shavings.

Bear 28 PB Replica 1904 is limited to 904 pieces with numbered certificate of authenticity. He is 40cm tall, handmade in Germany and comes with a distinctive elephant motif Steiff trademark "Button in Ear" made of patinated steel.
